Eligibility Criteria :

For the purpose of admission, a candidate, (i) shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum aggregate marks as prescribed in rule 6 in immediate previous academic year in the relevant discipline as mentioned in column 2 of Schedule I from the Technical Examination Board (TEB) or a recognized Board/University or institute approved by AICTE and situated in Gujarat State, and (ii) who have passed qualifying examination with minimum aggregate marks as prescribed in rule 6 in immediate previous admission year in the relevant discipline as mentioned in column 2 of Schedule I from the Technical Examination Board (TEB) or a recognized University or institute approved by AICTE and situated in Gujarat State, and who could not admitted in immediate previous admission year due to late declaration of results by the respective Board/University with minimum aggregate marks as prescribed in rule 6.

Minimum aggregate marks :

For the purpose of admission, the minimum aggregate marks which a candidate shall have obtained in qualifying examination shall be as per norms and requirements prescribed by the AICTE, New Delhi for lateral entry to the Second Year Under Graduate Development Programs for the current academic year.

AS PER AICTE PROCESS HANDBOOK 2020-21 , ANY DIPLOMA ENGINEERING STUDENT CAN TAKE ADMISSION IN ANY DEGREE ENGINEERING COURSE FROM SECOND YEAR I.E. THIRD SEMESTER

1) SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES:

1.1. MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES FOR DIPLOMA ENGINEERING

• Eligibility ( Entry level ) : Diploma Engineering from any institute with more than 65 % marks in Diploma Engineering
• Cast : All Category ( SEBC, SC,ST, OPEN etc.)
• Family Income : Less than Rs. 6 Lakh per annum
• Tuition Fee : 50 % waived off
• Hostel Rent : 50 % waived off
• Food Charges : To be paid by Student
• Transportation Fee : 50 % waived off
• MYSY Scholarship : Eligible student will get 50 % fees from Govt of Gujarat under “MukhyamantriYuvaSwawlambanYojna” apart from the institute scholarship

1.2. SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES FOR DIPLOMA ENGINEERING

• Documents: Income Certificate of Father, Aadhar Card, Degree Certificate, Mark sheets of Diploma Engineering

1.3. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Conditions : Attendance in class and lab should be more than 75 % and no backlog in any of the semester exams.
• Documents: Domicile certificate of Govt. of Gujarat, Father’s Income Certificate of every year during the period of study , Aadhar Card, Degree Certificate, Mark sheets of HSC and mark sheet of previous semester for continuation of scheme
• Process for selection of student : SRICT management will scrutinize individual application based on personal interview, merit , economic conditions of family etc. and permit students for this scholarship if found eligible .
• Hostel facility will be provided to student based on scrutiny and eligibility of his/her application
• This scheme is applicable to students who complete their graduation within Three years from the date of admission
• ARES management reserve right to modify the schemes at any point of time .

UPL GOLD MEDAL WILL BE AWARDED TO STUDENTS SCORING SPI 10
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Written Commitment (to Vice Chairman/HoD/Principal) on SPI >= 9.00. Written Commitment to be a “SWAYAMEV Teacher” in PLI Average attendance in qualifying semester >= 80%. No report of misbehaviour/ misconduct.

3) MUKHYAMANTRI YUVA SWAVLAMBAN YOJNA

• Student who achieved more than 65 percentage or more in Diploma Examination and want take admission in Second year Degree Engineering . and his/her family income less than Rs.6 Lakh per annum, he /she will eligible for this scholarship .
• Student who has secured more than 80 percentile in SSC or HSC examination and his/her family income less than Rs.6 Lakh per annum, he /she will eligible for this scholarship .
• Government of Gujarat will pay up 50 % of his/ her station fee or up to Rs.50,000.00 whichever is less. SRICT college will help eligible student for get benefits from Government of Gujarat .

4) FREE SHIP CARD

• Student who is belong to SC category and his/her family income would be less than 2.50 lakh is eligible for this scheme. Free Ship Card is issued by Director , Scheduled Caste Welfare

EDUCATIONAL LOAN SCHEMES OF INDIAN BANKS ASSOCIATION :

PURPOSE :

Payment of course fees. Purchase of books, equipment, instruments, uniform, payment of hostel fees, examination fees, study tours for studies in India

ELIGIBLE COURSES PROFESSIONAL COURSES :

Engineering, Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Law, Dental, Computer, Management, etc.

PROCESSING FEE:

No processing / upfront charges may be levied on loans sanctioned under the scheme.

REPAYMENT:

Commences two years after completion of the course or six months after getting employment, whichever is earlier.

Loan with interest is repayable in equated monthly instalments within :

• For loans Upto Rs.7.5 lacs – 10 years after commencement of repayment
• For loans above Rs.7.5 Lakhs - up to 15 years after commencement of repayment
• No prepayment penalty
• Credit Delivery

Loan can be availed from the branch nearest to the place of permanent residence of the parent / guardian. Ostentation of UID number (Aadhaar) of the student is compulsory

Rate of interest :

• Interest to be charged at rates linked to the Base rate as decided by individual banks
• Simple interest to be charged during the study period and up to commencement ofrepayment.

Eligibility :

• Should be an Indian National with no specific restriction for age of the student.
• Should have secured admission on merit to professional/technical courses in Indiaincluding management quota.

A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination after appearing in the supplementary examination conducted by the Board shall be eligible for admission in the current academic year on the vacant seats declared under rule 19.
