Interval Review for M.E Sem-3
An Interval Review was organized for M.E Sem-3 students of Environmental Management on 29 December 2021 by the Department of Environmental Science & Technology. Dr. Arijit Gupta and Mr. Kunal Majmudar were invited as the reviewers along with the other faculty members. All the students individually presented their topic describing the need of their study, methodology, work progress and future scope. It was a very beneficial discussion where all the faculty members gave their valuable feedback/suggestions to improve the quality of projects which was very well received by all the students. The review was coordinated by Ms. Amishi Popat (Asst. Professor, DEST) under the guidance of Dr. Pratibha Gautam (Head, DEST).

One-to-One Meeting @ME
A one-to-one meeting for the 3rd semester mechanical engineering students was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, UPL University of Sustainable Technology on 21/12/2021, chaired by Honorable Vice Chairman, Mr. Ashok Panjwani in the presence of Dr. Shrikant Wagh, Dr. Hemant Gupta and Mr. Gunjan Kumar.
Panjwani Sir motivated the students to improve academic performance, increase study hours and hard working. Mid semester results were also reviewed during the meeting.
Students responded well to what they learnt till now and the uniqueness of the institute. Students were also encouraged to participate in various activities.

An expert lecture was arranged in the mechanical engineering department for the 6th Sem. Students yesterday on 29/11/2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. This session was on the topic of “Welding Processes” delivered by Mr. V S Rohan (Founder-Director, Q C Tech. Services, Surat). In the theoretical session, he explained about what welding is, types of it & its applications. He also talked upon Welding inspection, welding processes, welding defects etc. Students got thorough knowledge about the welding processes & the different methods used for the welding.
Students got good exposure about the welding methods & its applications.

Orientation Program for 1st semester ME students
Department of Environmental Science & Technology organized an Orientation Program for 1st semester ME students (Batch 2021) on October 05, 2021. Ms. Pratibha Gautam (HOD-EST) addressed the students and briefed them about attendance policies, rules & regulations, Department's achievements, Mid Semester Exams, departmental Labs, & other facilities.etc. Students were introduced to current semester's subjects and faculties. The program was coordinated by Mr. Darshan Salunke, Assistant Professor-DEST.
